About the event
SLSGB Surf Coach Safety & Rescue course is designed for those who work as surf coaches at a surf school anywhere in the world.
This 3-day course prepares you for possible incidents during your surf lessons. You will learn how to get injured people out of the water without aid or with a surfboard as aid. Theory about the beach, the sea, etc. will be taught in a practical way. Of course a part is also first aid and reanimation. For the course you have to do a swimming test: 200 meter within 5 minutes. You must be at least 16 years old to take part in this course. The diploma has to be retested every other year and cost €295 (p.p.).
